Transcript

Please submit a transcript from your current undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Study Abroad/International Office Student Reference Form

Your study abroad advisor needs to complete and sign the reference form. If you are having trouble accessing this form, please email studyabroad (@gold.ac.uk). This form can be completed digitally.

Portfolio

Only applicable if you are applying for either our Art or Design programmes. If you have any difficulties uploading your portfolio, or would like to submit in a different format, please email studyabroad (@gold.ac.uk).

CV/Resume

Only applicable if you are applying for the Study Abroad internship programme.

English language certificate

If English is not your native language and you are not studying at a US institution you will need an English language certificate to study with us.

IELTS scores (or another English language certificate) are not required if the student is currently studying at a US institution as they have already been evaluated on their level of English proficiency by the home institution. 

IELTS requirement for undergraduate study: 6.0 overall with 6.0 in writing and no element lower than 5.5

IELTS requirement for postgraduate study: 6.5 overall with 6.5 in writing and no element lower than 6.0

If you don't reach these requirements we offer pre-sessional English programmes to help you improve your English language skills. Find out more about our Pre-sessional courses.

We accept a wide range of English Language certificates as well as IELTS. For a full list of acceptable alternative English Language qualifications please visit our Alternative English Requirements Page page.

We don’t require an academic reference at the point of application. We may contact you directly to request an academic reference if we have any questions about your academic standing.

Art/Design Applicants

If you would like to apply for the Art or Design Study Abroad programmes, please select one of these options at the start of the application form. Please ensure you upload your portfolio. Further supporting documents may be requested once your application has been submitted.

Please note that the Fine Art programme is only available for the full academic year. The Design programme can be taken for a single term or for the full year.

Receiving your offer

You will normally hear back from us within three weeks, although processing time may be longer during busy periods.

If your application is successful, you will be sent an official offer letter by email. Please read this thoroughly and follow the instructions.
