Accommodation for Study Abroad

For 2020 entry, we guarantee an offer of a space in Goldsmiths accommodation for all Study Abroad and Erasmus students who apply before the accommodation deadline.

Primary page content

All Study Abroad and Erasmus students studying at Goldsmiths for a single term will be housed in Loring Hall, which is based on campus. The fees for Loring Hall can be found below.

Students studying at Goldsmiths for the full year will be able to choose from our list of accommodation options.

Spring/Summer Students

If you are studying at Goldsmiths for the spring/summer term then you will have a choice between two accommodation contracts:

  • January to April
  • January to June

The length of the contract you are eligible depends on what modules you take at Goldsmiths.

The exam period runs from 26 April to 18 June 2021. If you choose modules that are assessed by an exam, then you will need to choose the longer accommodation contract in order to be on campus to sit the exams. Exams cannot be rescheduled and an alternative assessment cannot be offered. Exams can take place at any point between 26 April and 18 June.

If you choose modules that are assessed by essays/coursework, you will be able to submit these remotely online. You could therefore leave campus once teaching ends on 26 March 2021 if you prefer, and would be eligible for the shorter accommodation contract. You will still be able to access Goldsmiths services remotely if you choose this option.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you choose the appropriate accommodation contract to match your assessments. Once you have selected a contract you will not be able to change it at a later date.

All spring module options include assessment details in the description.

How to apply for accommodation

You will need to make an application with the Goldsmiths Accommodation Service. Find out how to make an application for accommodation.

Please note that you must have accepted your offer of study with us before you apply for accommodation. Once you have accepted your offer, it will take a minimum of 48 hours for the system to update, allowing you to apply for accommodation.

If you have any questions about accepting your offer of study please contact studyabroad(@gold.ac.uk).
