My PhD research focuses on the functional neuropsychology of empathy and compassion. In particular I am interested in the nature of low empathy conditions such as psychopathy, and investigating new potential treatment approaches. I am also interested in the practice of compassion meditation, and the behavioural and neurological changes associated with it. I am supervised by Dr Alice Jones, and I am attached to the Unit of School and Family Studies.

I am also currently working as a research assistant with the Hungry Mind Lab where I am assisting with the LENA project, which looks at language development in young children.
