Senior Lecturer, teaching 3d modelling and animation in computing department on post grad Games Art and VR courses. I teach IS47021A Introduction to 3d Modelling and Animation in Term 1, and IS74023B Advanced Modelling and Animation in term 2. These modules cover the production of 3d assets and animations for use in game environments from concept art to delivery. The digital pipelines take students from concept and artwork production, through modelling texturing lighting, effects and import into games engine.
Areas of interest include, 3d simulation using VR environments. Compositing in VR180 and VR360 space. Motion Capture and Tracking research.
